Ras Zacharri is fast establishing his name as one of Jamaica’s rising Roots Reggae stars. His fresh, unique Singjay vocal style and steadfast conscious and spiritually rooted lyrics helping to secure his name at the forefront of the international Reggae scene. He brings Roots Reggae’s peaceful message as a positive way of life, speak up for righteousness and what matters to the hearts of the people.
Zacharri was born in Jamaica by the name of Bogle Broadie. He spent his early childhood in a place called Border between St Andrews and St Mary before moving to Kingston & St. Ann’s. As a teenager he has been given the name Zacharri by his uncle Reggae artist Buju Banton, who was also one of his mentors in many ways. Rastafarian faith became his biggest inspiration and later he became a member of the 12 Tribes of Israel. Keeping his ears in tune with the latest sounds Zach’s attention to detail and quality music have lead to collaborations with some of Jamaica and Europe’s most accomplished producers & artists.
